Basic Function

The principal responsibilities for the External Reporting Sr. Lead Accountant will include assisting in the preparation and qualitative review of the company's external financial statements, including annual and quarterly SEC filings as well as the earnings release and other external reporting materials.
Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of the Company's XBRL exhibits in Workiva Wdesk.
  • Compile and review tie-out support for publicly released financial information.
  • Review financial results, prepare variance analysis and related explanations as necessary.
  • Review earnings releases and other investor presentations to ensure compliance with SEC regulations and consistency with other public documents.
  • Research disclosure requirements as defined by US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with individuals in other departments, both locally and globally.

Min. Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC Reporting is required.
  • Working knowledge of XBRL is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are essential.
  • Deadline driven and detail-oriented; ability to work efficiently and achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, while maintaining high quality.
  • Must be well organized, able to prioritize and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA is a plus.
  • Workiva Wdesk is a plus.
  • Big Four experience preferred.
