About the Role

In this role, you will lead large global engineering organizations, leading leaders and empowering them to run independent high-performing teams to design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment. You will provide leadership, mentorship and oversight to a high-performance team of engineering managers and engineers across product delivery, technology decisions, and best practices in resolving critical production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert and leads through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. 

What You'll Do

  • Establishes, leads and influences the vision of the product by contributing to software design and architecture that results in high performing technology.
  • Develop and enhance software providing strategy and direction to solve complex business problems by keeping customer experience at the forefront. 
  • Lead and model a DevOps mindset by applying automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery in everything we do. 
  • Foster innovation by applying best practices and learning from emerging technologies and through working collaboratively within a matrix.
  • Provide engineering leadership and collaborates and influences within a matrix environment influencing at senior levels.
  • Thought leader contributing to the development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people in projects and assignments of diverse scope.
  • Lead and facilitate teams creating highly collaborative environment.
  • Lead software engineering teams in the areas of Product to Market which involves, Franchise, Design, Pricing and Inventory Management. Demonstrate proficiency in the Azure platform and cloud technologies. Oversee the implementation of Spring Boot, Angular/React JS, Kafka, NoSQL databases, open-source RDMS, Databricks, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration tools.

Who You Are

  • In depth understanding and application of leading teams including establishing organizational goals aligned with product vision to achieve business success.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of modern software development, emerging trends and industry and competitor intelligence.
  • Superior communication skills with proven ability to guide senior levels and cross functional teams both internal and external.
  • Facilitate delivery partnership through right level of planning, coordination, alignment, and leadership visibility occurs to ensure on time, on budget delivery of initiatives. 
  • Strategic thought leader and problem solver that is able lead through others developing creative solutions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with API-First development and designing scalable APIs. Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools. Familiarity with the specified technology stacks - Spring Boot, Angular/React JS, Kafka, NoSQL databases, open-source RDMS, Databricks, Azure or any other cloud Platform.

Salary Range: $157,500 - $208,700 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
