Job Description:

The Sr. Professional, Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of components for CoreLogic's Integrations & Document intelligence platform using Java 8, Ruby on Rails, Python, etc.; Architecting and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) including building Microservices using third-party integration frameworks; Researching and implementing proof of concepts for third party vendors and service providers; Collaborating with Product team to understand and analyze the product requirements and create technical stories in the backlog; Planning and gathering requirements by working with cross functional CoreLogic teams to deliver Product features roadmap; Performing unit testing and performing acceptance testing for every new feature and bug; Coordinating with the team members in conducting performance analysis of products to improve efficiency; Reviewing product requirement backlog and work with engineering team to estimate and story point stories for a Sprint; Practicing good coding standards and principles and use them in performing code reviews and pull requests; Participating in Quality Assurance (QA) activities with the QA team to ensure test coverage for the features and APIs developed; and all other duties as assigned. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S. 100% of the time.

Job Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science or closely related field plus Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. In lieu of this, Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science or closely related field plus Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Required expertise/knowledge includes: 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Ruby on Rails, Python, and JavaScript; 2 years of experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) such as Service Oriented Architecture, REST using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Ruby on Rails; 2 years of experience with designing & developing secure, multi-tier, multi-tenant, highly scalable and highly available web applications; 2 years of experience with designing and improving relational and non-relational Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB; and 2 years of experience working with source control tools like Git and Github, CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
