Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:The purpose of this position is to recruit prospective students and to promote Texas State in the Austin Area. The Austin Regional Senior Admissions Counselor participates in all aspects of recruitment, both in Austin and on campus.
Expected activities include but are not limited to visits to high schools and community colleges, presentations, admissions events, and communication with students, parents, and counselors.
The Austin Regional Senior Admissions Counselor position requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
The Austin Senior Admissions Counselor must reside in the Austin Area.
