Job Description:

  • The development and automation team provides an application management platform to Client.
  • We enable the provisioning of applications to runtimes across cloud and containers, provide deployment capabilities, and improve the monitoring/logging of applications.
  • The team is driving efforts that expand features to make developers lives easier, such as adding autoscaling and traffic switching after their releases.
Project Description:
  • Our platform runs on a microservice architecture with the backend APIs developed primarily in Ruby, and the frontend running on Angular.
  • We are constantly improving how we provide automations to simplify support needs.
  • We've got a team of engineers with varying levels of seniority and interests within the project.
  • We are looking for passionate developers of all levels to help to accelerate the empowerment of Client developers.
Position Summary/Job Description:
  • An ideal candidate participates in the creation and presentation of technical designs.
  • They will lead in the delivery of complex solutions.
  • They demonstrate creativity and takes initiative in solving complex problems.
  • They are able to fill in holes in product direction and take the appropriate action within their team.
  • Aware of the technology landscape, they plan delivery of coarse-grained business needs spanning multiple applications.
  • This candidate sets a consistent example of agile development practices and coaches other engineers to work as a team with Product and UX.
How much time will the resource spend pair programming? 
  • 10-75% according to the stories and personal preference.
