Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute code, tests, automation, application design and architecture to an agile team of engineers working across the application stack and portfolio.
• Collaborate with scrum teams in grooming user stories and developing acceptance criteria so that we can deliver value to our customers.
• Perform testing \ Data Analysis on various software and reporting systems.
• Solve technical problems to discover solutions at any level of the stack (backend, frontend, database and infrastructure) and validate that user expectations are achieved during the requirement analysis process.
• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports on multiple projects of varying size
• Develop complex data quality audits using SQL to identify possible data issues coming in to the data warehouse
• Strategize and identify ways of improving the overall quality of the data
• Identify incorrect data, documenting issues, patterns and gaps in the data and/or system
• Build, update and maintain dashboards that report on key business and data quality metrics
• Communicate, learn, and share ideas across teams.
• Perform code reviews, guide development team and manage deployments
• Effectively lead and own delivery for the work of multiple teams.
• Engage in technical discussions as a subject matter expert, have a point of view to offer and have strategic influence with the product, business stakeholders and other engineering teams.
• Partner with product owners, designers, and business stakeholders to build teams’ roadmaps and establish goals for the teams based on strategic insights
• Help the teams improve efficiency, quality and speed of their development processes
• Collaborate with other engineering leaders and teams to drive leverage and technical craftsmanship in the larger engineering organization
• Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, respect and fun that continues making a great place to work
• Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases.
• Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
• Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning activities

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Agile development experience and knowledge of Agile ceremonies and practices
• 5+ years using SQL to query databases and reporting results in a summarized format
• 5+ years of experience analyzing data and finding anomalies using strong analytic and organizational skills, with the ability the ability to influence change
• Previous experience as Data Analyst \ Data Quality engineer
• Strong knowledge of database concepts
• Strong knowledge of reporting and analytics concepts
• Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
• Ability to review work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Degree(s) in computer science, math, science, engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience preferably in EMR or the healthcare industry with previous analytic/quantitative or operations experience
• Exposure to Reporting \ business intelligence and visualization platforms such as SSRS \ Tableau \ Salesforce \ PowerBI
