SUMMARY:

Preparation and analysis of reconciliations of bank accounts and other accounts.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly General Ledger reconciliations.
  
• Assist in the review and analysis of revenue and expense accounts.
  
• Prepare daily and month end journal entries.
  
• Prepare daily package for the review of General Ledger Account setup and Maintenance.
  
• Assist in preparation of the annual operating budget, incorporating projection for all divisions of the Bank.
  
• Assist in reconciling budget database results to budget financial statements.
  
• Assist with the creation and/or utilization of in-house reporting tools to capture incentive compensation data.
  
• Assist in reviewing investor presentations and SEC filings.
  
• Assist in reviewing financial reports to the Board of Directors.
  
• Assist the VP of Sales Compensation with the commission process by maintaining, tracking and analyzing commission data on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  
• Provide general support to the Accounting Department and other areas of the Company as needed.
  
• Assist accounting management with special projects as needed.
  
  
  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  

• Minimum of a two-year degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  
• Banking or financial institution experience a plus.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
  

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and database structures.
  
• Good working knowledge of personal computers and certain operating software.
  
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
  
• Ability to plan workflow and manage deadlines.
