Purpose
The purpose of this position is to continuously advance FSP Steel Processing with respect to safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting tactics to meet business plan objectives in safety, quality, execution, and cost.
  • Improve equipment and process SOEE utilizing available data to prioritize work.
  • Coordinate TimkenSteel day light maintenance and contracted services and repairs based upon asset operating schedules.
  • Ensure execution of shutdown/outage work to a predetermined budget and schedule.
  • Ensure training and training manuals are updated for both operation and maintenance personnel.
  • Communicate effectively across business departments - reliability excellence, operations, maintenance, demand planning, quality systems etc.
  • Off-shift support may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with 7 years of experience in manufacturing or supervising
Associate's degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with 6 years of experience in manufacturing or supervising
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with 4 years of experience in manufacturing or supervising

Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with 7 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or maintenance supervising
Associate's degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with 6 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or maintenance supervising
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with 4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or maintenance supervising

Preferred Technical Skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal, email, etc.)
  • IBM Maximo CMMS or other comparable CMMS
  • Data analysis skills
  • Problem solving / troubleshooting
