What We Do

Visible Alpha enhances the investment research process by extracting meaningful analyst models, and research reports through valuable partnerships with the world's premier investment research organizations. Our deep consensus data provides financial recommendations on companies and industries at a level of granularity and timeliness and that has never before been possible.

What You'll Do

  • Desire to generate significant new business revenue selling SaaS / Financial Services products to Investment Banks.
  • Engage with business leaders and c-level executives to pitch the value proposition across the Visible Alpha product suite.
  • Network and build relationships with the Investment Banking community.
  • Build, manage, qualify, and close deals within a 6-12 month sales pipeline.
  • Experience in driving, negotiating, and closing sophisticated sales and executing competitor displacements.
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product management.
  • Deliver an effective pitch and technology demonstration to customers while working effectively with colleagues and team members to communicate customer needs, product requirements, and competitive gap.
  • Desire to sell bottom-up (user-by-user) and top-down (C-Level), with particular emphasis on managing C-Level conversations.

Who You Are
  • Significant experience selling/closing sell-side fundamental research, data, or analytics to Investment Banks.
  • Comprehensive business knowledge of the Sell Side Industry.
  • Manage enterprise sales engagements with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience engaging with business leaders and C-level executives at Investment Banks.
  • Solid working knowledge of financial market data and procurement process within Investment Banks.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales negotiations.
  • History of meeting & exceeding revenue targets.
  • Motivated to manage each stage of the pipeline including prospecting, demonstrations, managing trials, and closing business.
  • Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal skills.
  • Goal driven, with the ability to meet internal & external deadlines.
  • Cold calling and pitching experience is key.
  • Must be a self-starter with a driven and positive attitude and have the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
  • Desirable:
  • Sales experience in data & analytical solutions focused in equity capital markets.
  • BA/BS Degree required; CFA, or desire to obtain the CFA designation, preferred but not required.

Remuneration:
At Visible Alpha, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $170,000. This role is also eligible for an up to 80% target bonus.
