JOB DESCRIPTION

We're seeking a Quantitative Strategist or Senior Strategist in Denver, CO or Chicago, IL (will also consider NYC, Atlanta or Austin) with a passion for finding and shaping actionable insights through expert quant data analysis. This new teammate should have specific experience as a brand consultant for a well-regarded firm and have the presence to lead savvy clients in the creation of growth strategy for their major brands. This position requires you to recognize patterns, connect dots and ultimately help develop the strategic vision underpinning each engagement.

THE ROLE

The Strategist / Senior Strategist will work integrally with the Brand Strategy and Innovation teams to support data analysis for the advancement of client business. To be successful, this individual must be highly analytical, a self-starter, responsive and be business savvy.

Job Duties include ability to:

•Day-to-day project leader for a diverse set of brand strategy projects, acting as second in command on large engagements and the lead (with minimal oversight) on smaller engagements.

•Manage the research process including developing surveys based on client objectives, managing the fieldwork process, analyzing data sourced from online consumer surveys

•Recommend appropriate quantitative methodologies

•Lead the development of high-level and detailed reports that are conducive to insightful brand, customer, and business strategies

•Manage multiple projects on time and within budget while applying the full rigor of quantitative methods

•Maintain project budgets throughout, ensuring smooth project operation and management

THE REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor degree in marketing, social sciences, business or similar field preferred.

•Minimum of 3+ years (5+ for senior level) of market research experience, preferably within a consumer insights or product branding context

•Proven experience writing engaging proposals based on quantitative methods.

•Proven knowledge of and experience managing the full market research cycle including survey design; data analysis, data interpretation, and development of recommendations; reporting and presenting.

•Knowledge in and experience with a range of market research studies, specifically: segmentation, attitude and usage, interests and opinions, and concept testing studies.

•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and marketing groups as well as Egg team members ensuring reliable results on time and on budget

•Developing skills in managing people and staff development/mentorship

•A personality, driven by the freshest possible thinking, that gets excited helping our clients grow top brands through brand strategy, consumer insights, analysis and innovation

•An ability to bring data to life through intriguing data visualization and create visually stunning presentations

•Expertise in analyzing data and translating it into high-quality PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate the research finding, generating impactful consumer insights through data analysis and pithy thought-provoking headlines

•Experience and skill with SPSS and Survey Reporter or equivalent would be a significant advantage.

•Strong computer skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

•Data savvy personality with proven attention to detail and accuracy, required

•Flexible and adaptable while maintaining a positive attitude

•Equally adept at working in a cross-functional team (i.e. digital, qualitative,) and independently

•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to include interpersonal and presentation skills, required.

•We create highly visual, multi-media stories to convey our insights, strategies and innovation ideas. The ability to convey your ideas through photos, videos and stories is key.

•Demonstration of "thinking beyond the task": What's the big idea, how will we find it, what's

the real answer to the question being asked?

•Proven client relationship skills, as well as strong project management skills and ability to lead clients (budgeting,

scheduling, managing 3rd party vendors, etc.)

•Able to lead smaller engagements as day-to-day contact, and be a respected voice on larger engagements

•Proven organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple duties

• Minimal travel to be expected - 15-20% (pre-covid)
