Overview

Throughout the course of the QSC 2023 Summer Internship Program (10 weeks beginning in mid-June) interns will work on-site, occasionally virtually if the opportunity arises, and have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions and receive training customized by our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the software engineering side of QSC. The interns will understand first-hand what a career with QSC is like and will have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot problems as a member of our Q-SYS software development team• Develop software test cases• Report issues on the defect tracking system (JIRA)• Work closely with the entire software development team to debug and solve issues• Partner with subject matter experts to understand test case business requirements and apply that knowledge when developing tests of your own design
Qualifications

• Rising Senior (expected graduation summer 2024) preferred
• Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering or related major
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), database and client/server systems
• Experience with object oriented programming languages and/or scripting languages
• General computer skills including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
