The Role: Marketing Intern:

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help us achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing, implementing and executing marketing strategies.

As a marketing intern at H&S, you will collaborate with our internal teams across all facets of marketing. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our marketing channels.

This internship will help you acquire a broad range of marketing and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You should be prepared to enter any exciting work environment. The position is in our Chicago Office.

Responsibilities:

Intern Responsibilities:

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Assist in marketing and branding promotional activities (e.g., social media, mail, email and web)
• Prepare client & internal presentations
• Help distribute marketing materials
• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (Salesforce - CRM)
• Help organize roundtables and trainings

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a student seeking an undergraduate education, preferably in Marketing
• Excellent aptitude in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Thorough communication skills; listening, speaking, and writing
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Team-oriented, adding value to a collegial, collaborative environment
• Proactive and self-motivated; possesses a strong sense of urgency
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM software, Online data and Google Adwords)
• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
• Current enrollment in a related BS or Master's degree program.
