PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR SECOND SHIFT

Shift Differential - No rotating shifts - 8 hour shift

Directs and coordinates all activities for their respective shifts, in order to optimize efficiency and profits, by performing the designated duties personally or through subordinates.

Supervise all production/secondary employees for their respective shifts. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation for all employees on their respective shifts.

First aid provider training is required for this position.

This position requires the employee to frequently sit, stand, walk and occasionally lift and or move up to fifty pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Supervise all production/secondary employees for their respective shifts. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and training for all employees on their respected shifts.

Maintain pre-set production schedule by coordinating personnel activities to operate efficiently

Prepares and conducts employee performance reviews for personnel supervised to provide incentives and discipline to employees, and to investigate and resolve complaints and disputes

Assist with interviewing process when requested by management.

Provides suggestions and inputs into continuous improvement for ISO compliance.

Adhere to and enforce all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure product integrity.

Assist the sampling and quality departments as required.

Ability to perform Process Technician duties such as: set-up, start-up and trouble shooting of injection/blow molding machines.

Perform set-up process and trouble shoot secondary operations

Adhere to and enforce clean room procedures to ensure clean room and product integrity.

Adhere to validation protocol and maintain validation process.

The ability to use and enforce the utilization of E-Dart technology (RJG) on their given shifts.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • One -year certificate from college or technical school.
  • 1 – 2 years’ related experience and/or training.

DO YOU HAVE…?
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CAN YOU WORK IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOU ARE….?
  • Regularly exposed to light industrial fumes or airborne particles in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposed to a noise level that is usually loud.
