Job Summary: The Supply Chain Process Lead is the company's expert in Supply Chain and Industrialization process standards and internal and external audits. Serves as a consultant to top management in significant matters relating to key customer audits, programs, and improvement projects. Identifies industry trends, capacity restraints and alternative resources. Serves as a technical resource to both supply chain and all other departments. Provides technical leadership for developing, implementing, and auditing to critical strategic supplier and commodity processes. Identifies opportunities for and manages Supply Chain continuous improvement projects.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Directly coordinate and manage OEM relationships (Boeing, Airbus, etc.). Is the focal for HAECO corporate procurement based in Hong Kong.
  • The role encompasses Supply Chain Internal Audit and Standards
  • This individual will develop, document, and implement all Supply Chain processes and standards in alignment with internal, customer, Boeing, Airbus, and any regulatory body requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout supply chain and interfacing departments including running any Kaizen events
  • Write departmental policies and dossiers for OEMs
  • Develop, maintain, and automate department metrics as well as metrics for internal supplier departments and external suppliers
  • Run RCCA activities for off track metrics
  • Develop new suppliers as well as maintain improvement projects for underperforming suppliers
  • Develop and administer training to Supply Chain departments as well as other departments
  • This individual will be the focal point for managing all internal audits to internal, corporate, Customer, Boeing, Airbus and any regulatory body
  • Develop strong relationships with and actively engage senior leaders within Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, and the Cabin Solutions Senior Leadership Team
  • Assess certain program proposals and execution risk, identify and resolve conflicts, and develop contingency and mitigation plans to deliver program deliverables on schedule; remain compliant with internal and customer requirements. Facilitate program communication, interaction, and flow with all stakeholders from a SC perspective
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of procurement basics, ethical business conduct, legal and contractual principles. Protect HAECO's supplier and customer proprietary data by complying with company policies, procedures, and accepted business practices
  • Work closely with the Operations Team to support program needs for both OEM and aftermarket customers
  • Foster increased productivity and advancement opportunities by personal commitment to professional development and by practicing continuous improvement of processes
  • Will partner with teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements. Serve as an active participant in business unit productivity gate reviews ensuring required cross-functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined
  • Willing and able to work some evenings to support meetings with the corporate office in Hong Kong as well as other overseas supplier meetings.


  • Secondary Duties:

    Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Vice President

    Accountabilities:

    Accountable to the Supply Chain Vice President in all daily functions.

    Job Qualifications:

    Minimum

    1.Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Purchasing and/or fields in Supply Chain Management.

    2.Six Sigma Greenbelt

    3.5+ years procurement and Supply Chain Management experience leading to a solid understanding of processes and product flow, the ability to interpret engineering data where applicable and a demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

    4.Highly skilled in MS Office software applications.

    5.Excellent written and oral communication skills and the traits of an effective leader in correspondence with Suppliers and Executive Management.

    6.Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and accurately perform duties.

    7.Must have independent problem-solving skills and the discipline to persevere until problems are solved.

    8.Willingness to continue personal growth and development.

    9.International and domestic travel required; approx. 10%-15%

    10.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

    Preferred:

    1. Six Sigma Blackbelt

    2. MBA

    Physical Requirements:

    1.Normal office environment where approximately 80% of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office, stores, and manufacturing areas.

    2.Filing duties require typical bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, etc.

    3.Normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination for keyboard operations is necessary approximately 80% of the time.

    4.Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.

    5.Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs.

    6.Must be able to work assigned schedule with minimal absences.
