TITLE: Adjunct Instructor
HOURS: Part-Time - 24 hours per course

MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Tallahassee Community College is seeking a part-time educator position as an Adjunct Instructor, responsible for teaching courses in Environmental Science Applications (Sustainable Agriculture, Horticulture, Precision Agriculture, Unmanned Vehicle Systems, Oyster Aquaculture) based on their area of expertise and academic qualifications. This role involves developing and delivering course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments, to facilitate student learning in line with the college's academic standards and objectives. The position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that accommodates students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of academic preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or its equivalent, and six years of related experience or a bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution, and two years of occupational experience. Prior teaching experience, especially in a community college setting, is preferred. Professional experience in the relevant field can be advantageous.
