Title: Systems Integration Engineer

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
Location: Rockaway, NJ (local is preferred)
Remote, however, you will have to travel up to 75% of the time.

We provide visibility through our market-leading software, our software provides awareness for military, public safety, transportation, energy and corporate security teams by aggregating visual information from across an organization and delivering it to command center video walls, or to operator desktops and mobile devices in the field.
What You Will Be Doing - Provide systems integration services in support of interactive data wall applications and integration of both hardware and software. Lead system and network integration efforts at customer locations.

- Install and commission various server and large-scale video wall systems as determined by customer's requirements

- Set up and establish connections between various secondary components (KVM switches, network switches, video devices, audio devices, etc.) to integrate the system components

- Install software for the integrated solution

- Configure products, including but not limited to all software settings, database configuration, define rights and permissions for groups, define sources (video, web, application, etc.), etc.

- At the customer site, set up system components based on configuration tested during in-house testing, modify as necessary

- Conduct end-user training of our application with clients

- Troubleshoot the integrated solution as necessary, which includes addressing hardware and configuration issues, and identifying software/OS issues

- Weekly on-call status on a rotating schedule with other Systems Integrators
What You Need for this Position - Experience performing component and interface level integration tests

- Ability to read and review engineering drawings

- Proven written and verbal communication skills relative to the application of technical products and business issues

- Networking knowledge (OSI layers 2, 3, and 4)

- Ability to work independently and handle tasks without high degree of oversight when required

 
Pluses but not required:
-Helpdesk/customer support experience
- InfoComm CTS
- CompTIA Security+
- Top Secret and/or TS/SCI preferred or the ability to gain required clearance
