**This is a temporary 6 month role**

Position Summary

Reporting to the National Sr Sourcing Manager and Talent Management Centre of Expertise (COE), the TA Sourcing Specialist manages the delivery and implementation of sourcing programs, processes, procedures, and systems in compliance with all relevant employment regulations for region. The role supports the regions specific sourcing strategies for management and hourly positions in alignment with the COE defined corporate Human Resources strategies.

The TA Sourcing Specialist will work with the Sourcing and TA teams within his/her region to understand and define their hourly staffing requirements and to provide subject matter expertise to provide sourcing support that will meet business needs as appropriate. The incumbent will keep up to date with current sourcing best practices and methods and maintaining good relationships with local market employment programs, and Community Based Organizations, schools, etc. This role will concentrate on all aspects of the sourcing lifecycle. In this role, there will be a need to travel approximately twenty five percent of the time.

Core Work Activities

  • The TA Sourcing Specialist works closely with the Sourcing Manager and TA/Sourcing leadership to help execute the sourcing strategy for positions within his/her region.
  • Assists sourcing in creating and fostering relationships with local schools and community-based organizations within the region (which the COE associates may not be familiar with).
  • Works with TA team to design and execute hourly site sourcing strategies and plans within designated market.
  • Would research and utilize various recruitment methods within the region, depending on the response rates, including:
  • posting on Job Boards
  • placing adverts in local press
  • hosting career nights and job fairs
  • having a presence at job fairs.
  • Job requires sourcing specialists to help plan and attend career events for his/her region.
  • Surfaces any sourcing issues at the site with the potential to escalate to the Regional TA/Sourcing Team and/or Center of Excellence, if necessary.
  • May be the first point of contact for the TA Team at each resort (within his/her region) for any Sourcing requests.
  • Helps to design and develop sourcing related processes within the hourly space pertinent to the sites in his/her region.
  • Reviews and analyzes applicant survey results. Identifies trends in feedback and provides follow up for issue resolution and/or appropriate communication to the businesses.
  • Works to harness the increasing capabilities of technology within in the sourcing world, with specific emphasis on Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc.).
  • Partner as a local consultant and liaison with Global Shared Services on sourcing strategies and efforts and may be called upon to engage in tactical efforts associated with these strategies. Partners with Global HR Services in developing and implementing Tier II and Tier III sourcing for designated market.
Specific Candidate Profile

Education:
  • Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience:
  • One (1) to two (2) years of progressive Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in building strong community-based organization (CBO) relationship within specific region preferred.
  • Expert in hourly candidate sourcing preferred.
  • Experience with developing/executing local sourcing strategies designed to target hard to fill positions preferred.
  • On-property resort or hotel experience/knowledge preferred.

  • Stays current with recruiting and sourcing trends and best practices.
  • High degree of integrity in dealing with sensitive information.
  • Integrates and balances priorities, work activities and resources for the benefit of multiple key stakeholders.
