Position Summary

Teleflex is currently seeking two interns to join our Tax department. The successful candidate will assist International Tax team and outside consultants in preparation of U.S. information tax returns for foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex. Basic accounting skills, attention to details, and ability to work as part of a team are necessary for this position.

The ideal candidate will be available to work ~20 hours a week while in school in the Winter/Spring 2023 semester. This internship will extend into the Summer 2023 and has the availability for full time hours once the semester concludes.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist with U.S. Federal Tax filings of foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex.
• Populate U.S. information returns, and various supporting schedules required to be filed for foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex.
• Build workpapers and files with documentation and schedules supporting U.S. information returns of foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex.
• Assist in calculating and preparing schedules in support of foreign income inclusions and disclosures.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing an accounting or finance degree.
• Minimum 2-3 years towards accounting or finance degree.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Basic accounting/finance/business courses required; intermediate accounting courses preferred.
• Basic understanding of balance sheets and income statements is a must.
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
