Job Description

The Team Lead, Sterilitycoordinates the activities of a team of lab techs and microbiologists to meet the challenge and goals of a particular area. You will ensure that routine tests requested by SGS clients are performed promptly and in accordance both with established methods and applicable regulations (GMP/GLP/ISO), and according to the client's specifications.

• Conduct and hold thorough knowledge in all of the routine microbiology/sterility assurance testing conducted in the laboratory
• Assume study director responsibilities for more advanced or specialized studies
• Participate in the review and approval process of keeping department documents such as SOPs, protocols, and data forms
• Structure and coordinate staff activities, as well as participate in the hiring and training of new staff members

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related sciences
• 7+ years experience performing advanced testing, analysis, and data interpretation in a regulated, commercial lab environment
• 1+ years supervisory experience
