What Youll Do

As a Teamcenter Architect at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:

  • Owns and manages all technical responsibilities for Team Center PLM software including but not limited to: TCUA 9.1, TCUA Multi CAD Data Management, CAD integration, Product Data/Change/Document Management, Product Portfolio Management (Schedule Manager), compliance management and supplier integration
  • Complete responsibility of all system architecture and solution configuration activities across all PLM modules
  • Assess business problems and derive scope in terms of its technical implementation of Teamcenter
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Design scalable, reusable and robust solution using Teamcenter and supporting solutions
  • Ability to articulate solution ideas with absolute clarity, good communication and presentation skills

Minimum education qualification
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 12+ years with a strong background with Teamcenter 9.1, 10 including T4O integration.
  • Solid proven background across all phases of a Solution Delivery Methodology
  • Sound understanding of latest Teamcenter architecture, features, application interface framework including CAD interfaces
  • Detailed exposure to Siemens PLM product future roadmap
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong analytical / Problem Solving skills
  • Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Eagerness to mentor junior team members
  • Should be familiar with technologies that will be used for this area include C/C++, Teamcenter ITK, Teamcenter Style sheets & Transfermodes, Java/Java Swing, Java Portal API (TcEng), PLMXML, XML/XSL/XSLT/XSL-FO, HTML/EXCEL/TABLEAU for reporting), OPENGE\SVN\CVS, T4O, T4S, Teamcenter Integration with Microsoft suite, Global Services, SOA, HPQC
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of six sigma is added advantage
  • Technical Lead resource for installing and configuring a prepackaged Teamcenter solution.
  • Create test plan and test scripts for validating and deploying an implementation package.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to coordinate implementation.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders about project status.
  • Fully implement and closeout project.
  • Support implementation and hyper care (approximately one month).
  • Provide release management support using BMIDE, Configure and troubleshoot TCUA reports, through Reports Manager or coding
  • Provide T4O integration specific support and guidance to R&D Engineering Users
  • Provide thought leadership in using Teamcenter in quality, supply chain, manufacturing etc.
  • Work with IT functional teams and business to set short term objectives and long term vision
  • Support business readiness and change management activities prior to go-live
