RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Technology Experience Designer responsible for the design and delivery of exceptional interaction and visual designs for our customers utilizing a human-centered design methodology. This individual works closely with digital experience design team members, product owners, strategists, and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate those goals into designs that enhance the overall end-user experience.The Technology Experience Designer works in a multidisciplinary environment, and in a collaborative fashion, on experience design activities throughout the software development lifecycle, often with numerous design initiatives occurring concurrently.REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or similar required
- Skilled practitioner with expertise in the design, production and presentation of interface designs that support the needs of the customer
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts to audiences that are not skilled in a UX discipline
- Demonstrated experience with human-centered design patterns and methodologies
- Extensive knowledge with Agile software methodologies.
- Comfort with utilizing one or more recognized Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, kanban, etc.) or toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Comfort with ambiguity, complexity, and passion for challenges
- Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Axure, Figma and Adobe CS
- Portfolio to show examples of UX design work using Axure RP or Figma
- Ability to travel occasionally for workshops and meetings
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
