The City of Boise is searching for outgoing and friendly individuals to partner with our Parks and Recreation Department. The Youth/Teen Outreach Leader directly engages the teenage community of the City of Boise through programs and discussions at the city's school-based community centers .
This position:

Essential Functions
Ensures the safety and well-being of all community center afterschool participants and staff. (25%)
Encourages and engages youths in a variety of indoor and outdoor group recreational activities such as basketball, tag and tetherball. (30%)
Prepares materials and supplies for youth arts and crafts projects and assists participants when necessary. (30%)
Makes sure equipment and supplies are in good working order and notifies supervisor when items need repair or replacement. (15%)
Performs other duties as assigned. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time. Total Percentage = 100%
