MedTest Dx, a HORIBA Company, is a world Leader in chemistry reagents manufacturing and diagnostic solutions for decentralized clinical testing, providing a combination of screening instruments and reagent manufacturing in medical technologies, with a wide portfolio of products for IVD testing laboratories.

We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated individual to manage our Mid Atlantic territory. Our Territory Managers serve as the initial point of contact with "end-user" prospects who are interested in one or more of the Company's products and convert that interest into sales orders. These team members work with the Company's representatives, distributor partners and customers regarding products and their uses, and provide information and demonstrations of our medical analyzers.

To be successful, a HORIBA Territory Manager:

  • Travels up to 75%, providing instrument information and performing in-person demonstrations with customers and/or distribution partners; demonstrating the use and features of HORIBA Medical analyzers.
  • Responds product capability questions or coordinates appropriate personnel to prospect inquiries.
  • Coordinates between the prospect and manufacturers' representative/distributor to provide demonstrations, further information, customer references, etc.
  • Develops and maintains a database of all prospects.
  • Completes and submits timely reports as defined by the Director of Sales and Corporate Accounts or their Area Sales Manager.
  • Maintains and manages all company assets that are issued, to include demonstration equipment, company vehicle, and lap top computer.
  • Manages the process of regular distribution of qualified leads and other information to members of the Company's distribution network. Responsible for the timely follow-up on all leads and advises manager of the action taken via a monthly report.
  • Performs follow up and qualification of inquiries generated by direct mail, advertising, and other promotional activities.
  • Implements promotional plans for the Company's products as provided by Marketing/Sales management.
  • Is able to provide expert operational and technical demonstrations for all company products.
  • Meets or exceeds sales performance targets as defined by the Director of Sales and Corporate Accounts.
  • Complies with all requests for reports requested by their Sales Management Team.
  • Performs duties in accordance with any and all established company policies and procedures and government regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, direct sales experience with clinical laboratory equipment. Experience includes distribution, indirect sales channels, knowledge of scientific and/or laboratory instrumentation and its application in the clinical laboratory.
