Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Territory Sales Rep to join our team.

Job Summary:

Responsible for acquiring new customers and developing existing customers by selling insulating products and solutions to contractors, residential builders, and architects for Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation. Accountable for increasing sales per customer and expanding margins while increasing market share in your territory. Owns a record of sales and margin achievement. Is an authoritative source with advanced knowledge of company and competitor policies, products, services and technologies. Provides expert advice to other sales representatives and may train more junior sales representatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Target top prospects in your territory and call on residential contractors, builders, architects and, to a lesser degree, commercial contractors, building owners and architects and convert their business to long-term customers of Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation.
* Communicate the Carlisle value proposition, leveraging the Carlisle Spray Foam Selling process, to guide our customers through the sales funnel, documenting activities, progress and communication in Salesforce CRM.
* Promote and sell Spray Foam Insulation products and services within your assigned geographic area to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin targets.
* Engage in team selling with technical and customer service representatives.
* Coordinate and communicate critical information between customers and the Company regarding shipping, schedules, forecasts, quality, technical issues, pricing and other miscellaneous issues.
* Pursue sales leads, visiting existing customers and pursuing new customers and accounts.
* Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; respond to more complex customer inquiries.
* Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
* Develop long term sales plans for key customers and monitor and adapt sales activities so these objectives are met.
* Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule activities so these targets are met.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Five or more years of experience in building material sales, focused on selling to contractors and distributors.
* Knowledge of the construction industry and building codes.
* Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.
* Strong presentation and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, with both customers and internal team members.
* Valid driver's license required.
* Must be able to drive or fly for periods of 8 hours or more
* Ability to walk job sites
* Ability to stand for long periods of time at trade shows or other events
* Ability to climb ladders
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (demo equipment, samples, etc.)

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Five or more years of experience in building material sales, focused on selling to contractors and distributors.
* Knowledge of the construction industry and building codes.
* Direct experience with SPF wall insulation, coatings, building envelope systems, knowledge of building codes, HERS ratings a plus.
