Overview

Summary of Responsibilities:

Conducts needs analyses to determine training opportunities for the Client RelationshipCenter (CRC) and Insurance Profillment Solutions (IPS) Service, Sales, Sales Operations Support and Support teams. Coordinates and presents training sessions using a variety of delivery methods, including individual coaching, classroom training by means of lecture and facilitation, call simulation, and side-by-side mentoring. Directs the development of documentation addressing the knowledge required by CRC associates and the processes and procedures used for daily performance. Consults with management and nonmanagement associates to enhance skill development and work processes within the teams. Works under minimal supervision and is responsible for overseeing associate knowledge across the Service, SOS, Support and Sales teams, coordinating training development opportunities across business units within Insurance Operations and Agency.
Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts classroom and oversees on-the-job training for new hires throughout the training and nesting period; facilitates call simulation exercises, Keynomics training, systems and product training, and side-by-side observation/training.
  • Provides day-to-day oversight, coaching and mentoring for reps in their nesting period.
  • Provides coaching, mentoring and consultation services to CRC Service, SOS, Support and Sales associates to contribute to the constant betterment of training, processes and procedures.
  • Performs ongoing workflow and process analysis within the CRC Service, SOS and Support teams; collects and assimilates pertinent data into training programs required to assist associates in the successful performance of their jobs.
  • Identifies training opportunities with Quality Control Analysts and management; coordinates and conducts specific training needs.
  • Works collaboratively with management and Team Leads to continuously improve the training experience; evaluates effectiveness of training initiatives and the development of newly hired associates.
  • Oversees procedural documentation updates for new processes and products, and directs the Team Leads in the development of the material.
  • Promotes knowledge sharing through building partnerships throughout the Enterprise.
  • Designs and develops training programs in conjunction with Education and Development Technical Training Specialists.
  • Develops skill certification exercises for CRC associates to ensure continued skill development; coordinates with Team Leads to implement regular skill checks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively delivering training to diverse audiences while showing poise and adhering to adult-learning principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to present training according to prescribed methods, following course structure, using appropriate grammar, pronunciation, pace and tone consistent with audience and content.
  • Proven ability to write and speak in a manner that effectively transfers information and understanding to others.
  • Proven experience designing and developing training programs and manuals that effectively apply adult-learning principles and use a variety of instructional methods.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively using interpersonal skills when dealing with trainees and others, listening carefully, responding appropriately, and recognizing and rewarding desired behavior.
  • Proven experience conducting needs analyses using appropriate tools and methods to gather and analyze information and using findings to recommend realistic and appropriate interventions.
  • Proven experience consulting with others to help them identify problems that hinder success and suggesting effective strategies and methods to overcome challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently. Experience must include identifying and resolving problems where independent decision-making and initiative were demonstrated.
  • Proven experience coaching others one-on-one to efficiently and effectively perform a new task.
Work Setting:
  • Works in an office setting and frequently remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings.
  • Frequently makes repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and/or fingers for frequent computer work.
Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Mainframe systems.
Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):
  • None required.
Position Demands:
  • Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
