Job Responsibilities

Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Construction Inspection Supervisor with experience consistent, but not limited to:

• Inspector responsibilities include performing inspections on roads, bridges, or other transportation improvement projects, sampling and testing materials for quality assurance, measuring and calculating quantities of work performed.
• Supervisory responsibilities include the planning, assigning, and reviewing work of other inspectors, training personnel associated with project construction, making on-site technical decisions as well as inspection responsibilities. 
• Assigning work areas to construction inspectors; Routinely monitoring inspector workloads to adjust inspector assignments as needed to ensure efficiency
• Making on-site technical decisions as well as inspections responsibilities
• Experience with public works infrastructure in nature, specifically roadway, bridge, highway, and traffic signal related labor.
• Creating and maintaining healthy relationships with clients, contractors and others; acting as a liaison when necessary to make sure all parties are informed of all progress
• Being responsible for making sure all paperwork is complete and accurate with State, Local and Federal Requirements
• Meeting project deadlines which may mean working nights, weekends and over time
