Job Description Summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced Transportation Program Manager to manage the daily operations of the employee commute program for a tech client located in Sunnyvale, CA, across multiple sites. The Transportation Program Manager will leverage employee data (both quantitative and qualitative) to help build a program that takes the Transportation and Commuter experience to the next level, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement the strongest and most meaningful solutions. This role takes ownership and oversight of the employee commute and campus navigation experience, including parking, EV charging, shuttles, campus and commuter bikes, rideshare, and public transportation.
Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Daily Operations

  • Working closely with the client's Transportation leader and vendor to continue to enhance a commuter software platform and other program initiatives.
  • Strong subject matter knowledge on Transportation programs. Knowledge of the regional transportation network, agencies, and policies in client's office locations.
  • Implement new Transportation programs, manage, and enhance existing programs and grow the client's TDM program.
  • Vendor management of daily operations and performance of rideshare, parking, and shuttle services.
  • Ability to act as a people manager, while supporting and driving employee performance for the Transportation team members.
  • Resolve escalation from any employee or visitor escalations related to operations.
  • Act as the liaison between the commute operations and the Workplace operations and Security teams on topics such as campus construction impacts to commute programs, wayfinding signage, EV operations, and large-scale events.
  • Scale commute infrastructure with campus growth (rideshare stops, bike/pedestrian paths, bike racks/amenities, parking, EV charging, technologies)
  • Travel to multiple sites to conduct site inspections and develop recommendations for improvement.
Performance and Process Improvement
  • Oversee the creation of SOP's for program initiatives and new processes.
  • Support the team in resolving vendor performance issues and help navigate the path forward for improvement.
  • Analyze and interpret program participation data and suggest operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and meet budget goals, while overseeing monthly reforecasts and yearly spend.
  • Work with vendors and program's Data Analyst to manage operations data collection and analysis of operations metrics.
  • Proactively identify areas of concern with program operations and develop strategies to resolve issues before they arise.
  • Streamline workflows between the various stakeholder groups including employees, supplier partners, leaders of workplace operations and workplace security.
  • Assist with driving efficiency into existing operations and help define new operational strategies, and recommend technologies.
  • Participate in regional industry groups and attend conferences to implement best practices.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience in overseeing Transportation or Commuter programs.
  • Ability to direct the work of others and establish the Transportation program's priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to accomplish goals working through vendor and client touch points, with thoughtfulness and tactfulness.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to effectively resolve difficult situations in a calm and courteous manner.
  • Ability to develop and present recommendations for the improvement of established processes and practices.
  • Ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well with a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MSFT Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), SharePoint, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • TDM-CP is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Transportation planning is preferred

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $106,250.00 - $125,000.00
