We're actively seeking a talented Treasury Systems & Transformation Leader to join our Treasury team in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be on-site or 100% remote.

As a Treasury Systems & Transformation Leader, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by developing, managing, and leading the execution of the Treasury strategic transformation program roadmap, which includes managing the implementation of major technology programs. You will fill a new role that sits in a dynamic and agile team within the Corporate division.

How you will make an impact:

• Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-LOB process design, measurement and re-engineering initiatives that will encompass an end to end analysis and future state design that requires specialized knowledge or skills critical to the redesign effort in a matrix leadership environment
• Develops improvement approaches within Treasury that are holistic, customer focused to understanding business processes and workflow and identify and help prioritize new initiatives to drive strategy, mitigate potential risks and control gaps, financial return, and/or positive customer impact
• Develops root cause analysis and business case for proposed strategy, technology, staff and structure changes, including cost estimates
• Manages implementation of major technology programs including design, build, test, deployment and control phases in an agile methodology
• Leads a team of process analysts and consultants
• Partners with external contacts, consultants, peers and banking partners in order to steer us to leading edge but not bleeding edge
• Recommends project scope, facilitates and participates in application design sessions, and aids in the development of system solutions.
• Prepares time estimates for completing projects, and assists in overall project scope definition, management and project tracking.
• Writes detailed functional and technical specifications and prepares other systems and functional documentation such as flow charts, use cases, and test scripts.
• Troubleshoots issues related to applications, data, structures and business process
• Aids in the policy certification, documentation and validation of the Treasury Framework
• Maintains an economic mindset i.e. economic priorities embedded in slate of work, seek commercial possibilities that emerge from better technology and process. Display commercial acumen

The experience you will bring:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in treasury architecture design, business analysis and/or systems analysis experience in a Financial Services application development environment
• Experience leading multi-platform technology deployments, including full life-cycle management from concept through deployment. Specific experience on structured delivery, complex integration and testing, agile development a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical field, computer science, or equivalent experience is strongly desired
• Experience with Agile software development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
• Proven experience at sourcing staff and building high performance teams

What will make you stand out:

• Annuity &/or life insurance industry experience
• SCRUM Master certification
• Master's degree in an analytical field or computer science
