RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a UI Developer - Web in Seattle, WA.Summary:This position is for a mid to senior software developer that can help with user interface development using web technology stack such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Polymer, Angular and other contemporary frameworks.Key Tasks:

• UI Developer will design technical solutions for implementing user interface specified by the User-Experience Designer
• Develop responsive, adaptive, and cross-browser-compatible user interface using web standards such as HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, JavaScript, NodeJS, and Polymer
• As a UI Developer, you will build test automation and build automation suites using UI technologies such as Karma, Jasmine, Grunt, and Gulp libraries
• Develop web UI integration based on Restful API using Ajax technology

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-4 years of strong HTML / CSS knowledge and experience
• 3-4 years of JavaScript (ES5/ES6) with jQuery experience
• 3-4 years of React experience. 16.8 version or greater with Redux for state management
• Strong understanding working with CMS templating concepts (Percussion, Rhytmix)
• Strong understanding Git workflows with peer review experience
• IT skills (ex. Programming skills with Java, Cobol, etc.)
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol specification and design and develop UI using the specification
• Knowledge of basic web security concepts and develop code that is compliant with security standards
• Excellent organization skills, etc.)

Nice to Have:

• Working experience in WCAG 2.1 accessibility
• Uses pre-processors like SASS or PostCSS
• Gulp or Grunt experience
• Experience creating component library/global style guide; Storybook experience an added plus
• Knowledge of JSP frameworks like Struts2
• Having some experience of using NextJS in React Apps
• Scrum/Agile experience

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of versioning tools such as GitHub
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Familiarity with cloud platform such as AWS
• Experience in Financial domain is a plus
