Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (some overtime on Fridays)

Hourly Rate: Min $16.50, Midpoint $20.63, Maximum $24.76









SUMMARY:

This position is assigned to the production department listed above and is responsible for performing all production positions in the department to fill in for vacant positions on the line. This position is graded as a BN3 because of the complexity of the different positions in the department. The position reports to the Supervisor of the department listed above.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Performs multiple line functions on an as needed basis to ensure the department keeps running
* Capable of performing every position in the departments listed above. The different department line functions a Utility Technician III must be trained on include the following positions by department:
* Distribution: Order Puller, Sit-down Forklift Operator, Stand-up Forklift Operator, Electric Pallet Jack Operator, Housekeeper Aisle Maintenance, Shipping/Billing Clerk
* Assists other team members as needed including helping with training
* Performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


* High School Diploma or GED Required
* Ability to learn the responsibilities of each position in the department
* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
* Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
* Ability to work alone and function independently
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment
* Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and teamwork
