UX Role Responsibilities and Rationale:

• Virtual PAY XA to work with the VP agile teams.
• XA for the VP teams provides design support for web pages, emails, fax and reporting.
• Creates wireframes, concepts, prototypes, usability study and reviews stories as well as providing business line UX testing of stories.
• Without support for these functions, we’ll not be able to support the efforts for the VP vertical.

Key things we’re looking for:

• Devotion to finding out what user needs are. Using user research findings to drive not only design, but also product development.
• We’re looking for someone who’s also fairly detail oriented and able to deal with taking complex data and finding ways to best serve it to clients.
• Experience designing accessible interfaces is also highly desirable.
• Not just checking for color contrast and putting labels on images, but truly keeping all users in mind – folks with cognitive ability limitations, alternate input device usage, hearing impairments, etc.

Tools:

• Familiarity with Figma is a plus, but if they have Sketch, Adobe Xd, AXURE or equivalent experience, that’s okay.
• Background experience with WCAG compliance (this is accessibility) is desirable as well as working in an Agile environment.
