Job Description:

Responsible for leading strategic business enablement and transformation initiatives on behalf of Datasite's executive leadership team. You are a strong leader that believes that progress is made through progressive thinking, progressive leadership, progressive policy, and progressive action. Leveraging your subject matter expertise and leadership skills, you will design and execute a broad array of business initiatives, including business change efforts, resource/functional investment plans and other special projects, partnering with executive leaders, functional leaders, and other business resources. Leading the businesses enablement teams to provides high-quality solutions that meets our complex growing business needs and enabling company growth, profitability and a strong NPS.

Leadership:

  • Lead efforts technical efforts related to Datasite's cloud first application infrastructure including Salesforce (including CRM, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud), Workday, Adaptive, Cloud Pay, Concur, serval BI applications and other SaaS technologies in order to provide innovative, scalable and efficient solutions to meet a broad array of business needs. Provide a solution-oriented approach to partnering with business leaders to establish and execute a roadmap related to the technologies and world class support model.

  • Lead a team of internal system experts that design, build, and run and support foundational operating systems which services the enterprise.
  • With independence, leads the prioritization and execution of business initiatives assigned by Datasite's leadership team:
    • Proactively identifies opportunities/needs and leads the development, prioritization, and implementation of proposed internal solutions to help improve the quality and efficiency of our employees to service our customers and meet business demands.
    • Enjoys leading internal projects with varying functional to technical support needs as well as size and scale from data analyses, business intelligence, executive level presentations, business cases and other tasks aligned to strategic business initiatives, transformation / integration efforts, resource planning, and process improvement.
    • Makes data driven decisions to achieve better outcomes and monitors/manages risks and opportunities through KPIs and OKRs.

  • Partner with business analysts, systems analysts, and engineers in gathering and reviewing non-functional requirements. Identify key business and technology drivers that impact architectures, including end-user requirements, existing software distribution capabilities, existing application environment (including legacy and packaged systems), and performance/availability requirements.
  • Conduct assessments of current business and technology architectures including functional assessments, such as end user satisfaction and functional overlaps/gaps; and technical assessments, such as platforms, tool proliferation, age of underlying technologies; uptime/availability; and business processes. Identify and document any risks, issues or critical success factors that may require immediate action.
  • Translate project requirements into detailed designs consistent with current and future platform strategy and roadmap while influencing requirements and balancing needs for immediate action and the POA. Design external system interface architecture that includes appropriate application of techniques and standards. Maintain and promote use of appropriate design techniques and methodologies. Actively participate in testing design and execution to validate coverage and perform causal analysis
  • Proven ability to drive sustainable change such as: create new disciplines and drive culture changes at the enterprise level. Includes: creating the vision, establishing buy-in and support at all levels, building and executing roadmap/plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and build strong partnerships with leadership, suppliers, and industry peers to have a well-rounded perspective to drive to better outcomes.

Quality & Initiatives:
  • Possess strong in-depth knowledge of leading-edge business operational run state technologies to support business outcomes, along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.
  • Works closely with the Business leads, SMEs, and functional partners to provide business and project-related expertise and execution enablement for project/program delivery, often serving a key role in the project design, management, and oversight of those projects/programs.
    Integrate solutions to enable the business to self-service their data needs and produce automated reporting, dashboards, and what if analyses.
  • Works to understand the complex needs of the business to then create high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact
  • Navigates unstructured situations by being able to translate to appropriate objectives and priorities, problem solve and define effective execution paths for others and self in the face of ambiguity.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant field required; Advanced Degree and certifications preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience required. Strong knowledge and experience owning enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Workday (or relevant experience SAP, Oracle, etc.), eCommerce (payment portals), Business Intelligence/AI. Relevant solutions architecture experience that includes successful software integration experience
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated expertise in solutions architecture designs and concepts, which include but are not limited to: SDLC Process, Security, high availability, recovery, performance, monitoring and operations design, and application architecture
  • Skills in general architecture, operations, and deployment methodologies and techniques (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, MOF)
  • Strong organization skills and an ability to multitask to meet multiple deadlines in short time frames
  • Experience with multiple SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, Siebel, SAP, Workday, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards
