Job Description

Computer World Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Voice/Data Communications Engineer to join our team supporting the Joint Support Communications Element (JSCE) located on MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

* Provides technical direction and engineering knowledge for communications activities including;

o Planning, designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining large communications networks.

* Ensures that adequate and appropriate planning is provided to direct building architects and planners in building communications spaces and media pathways meet industry standards.

* Develops, operates, and maintains voice, wireless, video, and data communications systems.

Education & Experience

* At least 7 years of experience is required.

Certifications

* BICSI Technician certification is required.

Security Clearance

* Top Secret

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

* Must possess appropriate DoD Directive 8570.01M IAT certification - SEC+ or equivalent, or higher

* Minimal travel anticipated
