Interface is seeking a VP of Supply Chain responsible for ensuring Interface's vast array of products arrives on-site, on time, every time. This position requires a dynamic leader to work with internal stakeholders, multiple warehouses, and external vendors to procure, store, configure, and ship equipment to and from customer locations. Striking the balance between expense, inventory management, and strategic purchasing, the VP of Supply Chain's key objective is to manage a large, distributed inventory for installation of new systems as well as service stock for on-site repair with aggressive SLAs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Standardization and optimization of procurement, distribution, and facility-based supply chain operations
    • Collaborate with service delivery, field operations, and support teams to design and optimize end to end business processes that meet or exceed customer SLAs
    • Identify opportunities to optimize the functionality of supply chain management software and provide specifications for development enhancements
    • Direct procurement of equipment and services for network, life safety, and business intelligence solutions
    • Direct logistics operations at multiple fulfillment warehouses
    • Develop and enhance operational KPIs for supply chain operations
    • Manage vendor relationships for 3rd party warehouse and logistics partners
  • Analyze supply and demand of key components to ensure product availability based on the consumption trend
    • Analyze inventory inflow and outflow and build sourcing plans to meet demand
    • Work cross-functionally to build forecasting data
  • Provide strategic oversight of purchasing and inventory management
    • Develop strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost
    • Optimize on-hand inventory levels
Expected Results:
  • Supply chain personnel are motivated, positive, and have a customer service attitude.
  • Equipment for service calls and installations arrives on-site within committed SLA.
  • On hand inventory is optimized to desired maximum age and value.
  • At-risk equipment is purchased in advance to avoid installation and service delays.
  • Hardware and software are purchased based on the best available cost.

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience:
  • 8+ Years in Procurement and Supply Chain Operations Preferred.
  • Oracle Fusion SCM experience is a plus.
  • Relevant Industry Experience is a plus
Core Competencies:
  • Experience leading a supply chain operation that includes multi-vendor sourcing and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams in different locations.
  • Positive "Can Do" attitude with the ability to motivate the team to accomplish company set goals.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide action plans using data analysis tools (Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Smartsheet).
  • Professional was written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve escalations efficiently and professionally from team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Sense of urgency to complete projects by agreed-upon completion dates.

Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent-lit workspace at the employer's office with minimal exposure to noise and adverse environmental issues. Business travel will include travel by vehicle and plane. Business travel will include overnight stays in a hotel.
