Location: Walnut Grove, MS Hatchery
Position: Vaccine Mixer Operator
Shift: 1st Shift

This position will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4:00 am - until; must be flexible. Holiday work is required.

Pay Grade: HY02 $15.95/hr

Shift Pay: None

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• This positions are responsible for mixing vaccines, and dispensing vaccines.
• responsible for equipment set up, equipment break down, and equipment cleaning.
• responsible for cleaning assigned areas of the hatchery and perform all other tasks assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• Able to use both hands continuously, walk, bend and stoop during shift.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 10 hours.
• Able to complete all required training for the job.
• Able to work in a humid, wet and dusty environment.

EXPIERENCE REQUIRED:

Must show 3 months machine operator experience with one employer.

Applicant must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Rehire Consideration:

• 180 days (6 months) waiting period
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be consider for hire
