Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Perform shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.
- Receiving incoming materials and preparing materials for shipment.
- Verifying quantity, weight, and conformance of materials.
- Preparing records of materials shipped and bills of lading.
- Routing materials to destinations.
- Laying out, fabricating, and assembling nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and preparing parts and tooling for special shipment.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4-8 years of experience supervising a warehouse
- Hands on experience in a warehouse environment
- Deep Knowledge of shipping/receiving, invoicing and billing
