ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unloading of inbound loads.
• Effectively maintain product storage and rotation.
• Pick and stage upcoming outbound orders.
• Loading of outbound deliveries.
• Restack product leakers on pallets
• Unload, sort and stack pallets
• Warehouse sanitation
• Able to understand and complete shipping documents
• Always keep a clean and safe work area
• Must always follow GMP and SOP rules and regulations
• Report all equipment malfunctions and abnormalities to supervision and maintenance personnel.
• Work with maintenance personnel to effect repairs as necessary.
• Assist in other areas of the facility as instructed by the shift lead.
• Follow all company/governmental Safety Policies & Regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Requires employee to sit, stand or walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Use of hands to reach and feel
• Required to talk, hear, and smell
• Required to regularly lift up to 45 pounds, with capabilities to lift up to 80 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Cold environment (34F)
• Near moving mechanical parts with risk of electrical shock
• Presence of fumes or airborne particles places

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School degree or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Six months related experience and or training required.

• Ability to add subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.
• Must speak, read and write English

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• OSHA forklift safety certification (Written and practical test)
