Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our tech manufacturing facility in Lake Forest. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, storage, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Supervise Warehouse Operations: Direct and oversee daily activities within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization of materials and products. Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate warehouse staff to ensure efficient and productive performance. Provide training, guidance, and support to warehouse team members.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards or concerns.

Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory and shipments. Monitor product quality and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the warehouse operations. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.

Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding inbound and outbound shipments. Communicate effectively to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials and products.

Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. Schedule repairs and inspections as needed to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions. Generate reports as needed to track performance metrics and inventory levels.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth coordination of warehouse activities and fulfillment of orders.
