Position Summary:

AutoNation's Marketing Analytics Team has an immediate need for a Web Tagging and Tracking Analyst.  As the Web Tagging and Tracking Analyst, you will maximize sales and profitability of the digital group by leading strategic analyses and provide business intelligence to the Consumer Marketing and eCommerce teams. You will develop and maintain web tagging and pixels on websites to ensure the accurate collection of data. Ideal candidates are skilled in Html and JavaScript and have experience working with a tag management solution.

 

The Analyst will be working onsite in our beautiful building in sunny Fort Lauderdale.

 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Implement and maintain web tagging on all web properties using Tealium Tag Management solution by partnering with Internal Developers or Vendors.
2. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the tagging code that would impact proper capture of data.
3. Produce weekly and monthly analyses of site performance.
4. Create ecommerce and consumer business unit-specific dashboards to drive business decisions based on KPI's.
5. Monitors the performance of digital experiences and provides diagnostics when performance falls below expected levels.
6. Continually keeping abreast with new digital marketing techniques and tools used for tag management and web analytics. 

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of working experience in web analytics (Google Analytics experience preferred).
2. Knowledge of website analytics and developing reports.
3. Deep Understanding of e-commerce and website behavior.
4. Deep and demonstrated understanding of JavaScript & Html.
5. Understanding of mobile platforms and the proven ability to effectively integrate these platforms into a cohesive marketing and data strategy.
6. Excellent project management skills to build and execute project plans with clearly defined deliverables, timelines, and ownerships. Provide prompt and timely update with progress, issues, and risk mitigations.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

Must Haves:

• At-least 2 years of JS and HTML hands-on experience
• Experience using a tag management solution (Eg: Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Launch by Adobe)
• Experience working with Google Analytics. 

Preferred:

• Experience using SQL to query large data tables.
• Tealium experience
• Tableau/QlikView
• Experience with A/B testing.
