Job Summary:

The overall purpose of the Nurse Manager position is to participate in and oversee the provision of Patient care as prescribed by the attending physician, consistent with accepted standards of practice. This position is responsible to provide care directly to the Patient and/or supervise the direction of care to ensure the highest practical care is provided to the Patient.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School and a current and valid LVN/LPN license in the applicable State
• Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in a long-term or health care setting is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Essential Functions:

• Monitor/Review the following daily for accuracy, completion, required documentation and appropriate intervention:
o Telephone Orders
o Medication Administration Record
o PRN Medication Administration Record
o IV Medication Administration Record
o Treatment Record
o G-Tube Record
o Diabetic Record
o Anticoagulant Monitoring Form
o Weekly Skin Assessment Form
o Patient Daily Record
o Flow Record
o Behavior Monitoring Sheets
o Narcotic Control Sheets
o Monthly Summaries that are due
o Lab, X-ray, Etc. reports received
o Glucometer Control Log
o Refrigerator temperature Logs
