Wire Desgin & Install Engineer 3

Everett, WA

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
• Analyze results and perform design reviews.
• Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).
• Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
• Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
• Develop basic statements of work.
• Participate in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
• Analyze functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design.
• Work under general direction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry combined with 5 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
• CATIA -V5
• Electrical Design / wire installation
• If no Electrical Design, must have expert knowledge of CATIA-5
• Manager prefers Electrical Design experience
• Interiors/Payloads or anything in the automotive with Design
• Communication/collaboration skills
