We are looking for a detail oriented individual to join our global HR Operations Team. This position can be located in the US or Mexico.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the administration of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (primarily Workday) to support the long and short term business goals of various functions. Delivers automated HR solutions to the business to drive efficiencies and cost savings. Provides ongoing consultation on processes and system enhancements. Works with HR to evaluate HRIS software needs, and may help design new or modify existing HRIS applications to meet changing demands. Provides custom report development and provides data to internal customer groups.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Participates in global HR processes/system administration and/or development projects.
  • Project manages the creation and implementation of HR Operations initiatives.
  • Designs, plans, tests and implements both new applications and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Provides HR systems expertise in recommending system improvements to meet internal customer needs.
  • Functions as consultant and solutions partner with HR functional owners to deliver tools and system solutions (e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Absence and Time Tracking, etc.).
  • Keeps up-to-date of industry trends and new methods in HR information systems as well as business processes and communicates to the HR departments.
  • Creates or updates custom reports in Workday.
  • Ensures integrity of HR databases and any downstream impact with any/all changes.
  • Often serves as HR department liaison to GIS/IT function for downstream impact and coordinates changes.
  • Works closely with the HR department to manage change requests and ensure compliance
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:
  • Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices and standards, acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.
  • Develops solutions to defined tasks, typical assignments and projects. May be solved by the application of specialized foundational knowledge, using existing approaches and solutions.
  • Work is usually performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Receives initial direction although work may be reviewed for accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborates with immediate management and team members within the department or function.
  • Actions typically affect own work assignments and department. Erroneous decisions or failure to accomplish work may require some assistance or resources to remedy.

Work Experience:
  • Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
  • Workday experience is preferred
  • Position can be remote
