Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly
Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop rules and scripts to replace manual operator commands in the OPS/MVS and Netview/SA environments.
- Create rules and scripts for monitoring system messages and conditions.
- Enable timely responses by Operations and support teams.
- Design code to automatically generate Service Now tickets.
- Ensure successful implementation of requests within SLA timeframes.
- Assist in GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex) software installation.
- Maintain GDPS scripts to support current and future Rapid Recovery/Disaster Recovery processes.

Automation Solutions:
- Proficiency in providing automation solutions using OPS/MVS and Netview/SA products.

z/OS Operations Commands:
- Hands-on experience with z/OS operations commands.

Operating System Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the z/OS operating system, including JES2, RACF, and other base systems.

API Code Usage:
- Experience using appropriate API code for functions such as generating Service Now incident tickets.
