This position communicates directly any problems, or job-related duties to the Director of Facility Services. Responsible for implementing the Bio-Medical Safety Program, as per department outlining. Performs troubleshooting, repair and calibration of all Bio-Medical equipment (I.V. Pumps, Telemetry units, Defibrillators, etc..) and systems in the facility(Nurse Call, Telephone, Telemetry, etc.). Records, and documents all work performed as required. Displays adequate troubleshooting techniques necessary to assist in isolating problems on Bio-Medical equipment. Is responsible for conservation and appropriate use of hospital supplies and equipment. Responds to emergency problems when required. Performs testing and repair of Bio-Medical equipment as required or requested. Performs all maintenance and repair for Bio-Medical Service Contracts as specified. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
1) Two-year Associate degree in Electronics/Bio-Medical or related field.
2) Previous practical experience as an Electronics Equipment Technician.
3) Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
