The Sr. Maintenance Technician provides maintenance, repair, and oversight of the C/A Design facility, and grounds. The initial focus of this role will be supporting the plant move from Dover NH to our newly renovated 140,000sf facility in Exeter NH. The incumbent will initially receive direction and support from the SR Project Manager for the relocation and will eventually report to the Plant Manager once the move is complete (Summer/Fall 2024).

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the decommissioning and relocation of a variety of large- and small-scale equipment to the new facility.
  • Organize and plan projects, staff daily duties, short-term/long-term, and prioritize scheduled move projects with guidance from the SR Project Manager.
  • Operate as a working lead to help the maintenance team perform/complete maintenance activities including complex assignments.
  • Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing and providing oversight of a preventive maintenance program; facilitates the operation and testing of systems and equipment.
  • Support Plant Manager in the development of strategies and plans to be aligned with operational needs, minimize risks, and maximize the useful life of the assets being maintained.
  • Advise and provide updates to the SR Project Manager on plant move target dates and goals.
  • Maintain records and coordinate service/repair via outside contractors on a variety of high precision machining equipment and other large-scale equipment.
  • Participate in the opex and capital planning process and repair vs. replace decisions.
  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Respond to internal inquiries for maintenance support; review, prioritize, and assign tickets from the work order system.
  • Support compliance audits and quality assurance reviews; review performance reports and take corrective actions.
  • Partners and coordinates with EH&S safety coordinator on safety related topics and initiatives; active participant of the safety team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training or certifications relative to equipment maintenance/repair highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of CNC, machine shop equipment - working experience in a similar environment highly desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems, Hydraulic, Plumbing and Electrical
  • Plant move and large-scale equipment move experience is ideal.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading practices and suggestions/solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact and partner with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, multitask, manage shifting priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must maintain a valid New Hampshire driver's license and be forklift certified.
